Residents in TN were evaluated because of the gas smell
An
unfortunate incident occurred at Kinder Morgan's Tennessee Gas Pipeline
facility in Nunnelly, resulting in a gas plant explosion. The explosion caused
a strong gas smell that quickly spread to the surrounding areas, causing
concern among the residents. Cheryl Null, a resident near Highway 48 in
Centerville, reported the smell around 9 a.m. and immediately evacuated her
home with her family and three dogs. Unfortunately, her daughter, who is
sensitive to smells, began feeling dizzy due to the gas fumes, but they quickly
got her to safety. The incident prompted hundreds of residents in the nearby
areas to evacuate their homes as a precautionary measure. Despite the chaos,
Null expressed her gratitude towards the county and first responders for their
prompt and efficient response to the situation. Read
